  • Feng Images Blog – Wedding, Engagement and Portrait Photography

What began as a labor of love blossomed into a full-blown passion for capturing life through the eye of a lens.

It all started with a wildly ambitious goal to take pictures of our son, Jediah, every day of his first year. As he grew, so did we as photographers. We learned about the technical aspects of operating a camera, but more importantly, we learned that life; even in the simplest, most nondescript things; is worth celebrating, capturing and remembering.

We are primarily wedding and portrait photographers, but we love making the camera shutter dance for just about anything. We can't wait to get to know you and have some fun capturing your story!

Happy Mother’s Day!

To all Moms around the world (yep, the whole thing),

For the way you sacrifice time, energy, and sleep to make your kids’ lives that much better…

For the way you shower unconditional love on those under your care…

For the hundreds of little miracles you perform every day with your children to keep them happy & healthy…

…we pray you have an unforgettable Mother’s Day (and hope your kids make the other 364 days as incredible as today for you, too!).

Diane & David | The Court In the Square Wedding (Teasers!)

Intense. Passionate. Devoted. Meticulous. Stunning.

All words that eagerly seek to describe and capture the essence of Diane & David and yet fail so miserably in their attempt. David helped found and run a thriving non-profit while working full-time as a business analytics executive. Diane planned and orchestrated their wedding down to the finest detail with extraordinary grace while taking final exams.

The day began with rain…lots of it. By 3pm, we had sun…lots of it. It was as if God Himself decided He’d had enough of the clouds and wanted an unobstructed view to the magnificent pairing of His two children.

Huge thanks to the esteemed Dorothy Huynh for seconding for me. She took a risk on me when I barely knew how to wield a camera, so it was incredibly humbling to have the high privilege of shooting with her again. Props to Yeji Kim Sakoda from YK Makeup as well for doing a fabulous job with everyone’s makeup!

But enough with words…time for the images to speak. David & Diane rock the blog.

Diane & David | Foster White Gallery & Discovery Park E-Session

First E-session of 2012, and it couldn’t have been with a better couple. I knew things were going to go well when Diane told me she already had places in mind for their engagement session. They’re getting married tomorrow, so what better way to preface their special day than by blogging their e-session?

Quick side note: When I went to check out the Foster White Gallery before our shoot, I was completely blown away. Not only did the owner offer me cookies, but she said they’d be happy to move any of the art pieces around to accomodate our shoot. First time shooting in an art gallery, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Diane is positively stunning, and David knows how to rock the threads, too. Probably best I step aside here and let the images do the talking. Looking forward to Diane & David’s big day!

Jolyn & Dennis – Bay Area – Kohl Mansion Wedding (Teasers!)

The forecast on Jolyn & Dennis’s wedding day was a 100% chance of rain beginning at 8am.

The ceremony was scheduled to begin at 4pm.

How they handled the weather speaks volumes of how incredible a couple they are. Having been around them all day, unless I took a glance outside, I would’ve thought it was one of the most spectacular days humankind had ever seen.

And it was.

Jolyn & Dennis took that 100% chance of rain on their wedding day and transformed it into a 100% chance of awesomeness, basking in the day that God had finally brought to them and drinking in its joy.

Kudos to Frances & her team from Charmed Events Group for putting on a spectacular event and special thanks to Tim Sohn for being my second-shooter. Without further ado…teasers of their spectacular day. Congrats, Jolyn & Dennis…you two rock life with some serious class.
