Two. Zero. One. Two.

Who in their right mind would prepare a “best of 2012” post 1/4 of the way through 2013? Well…if you’re here, then you already know the answer to that little riddle. The blog’s been sorely needing an update, so we figured we’d kick the updates off in a big way. 2012 was a huge year for us. HYOOGE.

We had the extreme honor and privilege to work with absolutely amazing couples, fly to cool places to shoot weddings, and hang out with incredible families and kids. And our clients weren’t just clients…they became good friends.

We were stoked to have had several opportunities to shoot alongside unbelievably talented photographers – Dorothy Huynh, Karen Obrist, Lauren Kennedy, Amber Zbitnoff, Christina Whittaker, Tim Sohn, Alex Rapada, and George Chaney. Thank you all so much for inspiring us with your work, your wit, and your passion for photography.

We were stretched and grew in ways we never expected and we’re absolutely PUMPED for the future. We thank God every day that we get to do something that we love so much.

To all who gave us the opportunity to capture a moment of your lives in 2012, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU with every fiber of our being. You have no idea how grateful we are for your trust, encouragement, and friendship.

And as for you, remaining 3/4 of 2013…it’s on like Donkey Kong.

And now, without further ado, our favorites from 2012. Pull up a chair…hopefully you’ll hang around for a while.

Amy - I’ll second Dorothy’s comment, Yee. Whether they are the everyday variety or once-in-a-lifetime occasions, you have a gift for capturing the magic in every moment.

Karen - I THREW THAT VEIL! Boom. 😉 It was a pleasure, as always, to work with you again last year. It’s been so much fun learning your mad flash skills and seeing how ridiculous you get on the dance floor. Best part it- you’re talented and one of my friends. Your family has been so good to me and I’m excited to see what 2013 holds for you! Glad you FINALLY updated your blog! 🙂 Keep rocking it.
