The Levys | 6.10.2011 | Family Portrait Session

Erika and I ran cross country and track in high school together (she far more successfully than I!), and we reconnected again after a few years through Facebook. She’s been a longtime supporter of Feng Images and jumped at the chance for a family portrait session when we came down to San Diego. Erika, Guy, and their kids, Jordan, Jonah, and Maya were amazing during the entire shoot!

One of the most poignant moments of the shoot took place when I asked Guy and Erika how it felt like to be parents of three kids.  Since Carolyn and I are newly parents of two, I wondered what it was like to add another child to the mix.  Guy quick answer struck me and spoke volumes of what an incredible mom Erika is when he said, “With her (Erika) it’s easy. I don’t worry about anything.”  Guy is an awesome dad, too – it was incredibly easy to see that the boys LOVE being around him and he loves being around them!

The newest member of the family, Maya, is absolutely adorable…check out those cheeks and her intense gaze!

It was such a privilege to hang out with the Levys for an evening and see how happy their family is.  They laughed readily and easily and absolutely rocked the session!
